Ernst is a fervent believer in improving software development craftsmanship and professionalism. This is the main reason behind his involvement with Scrum.org. He has been delivering business applications on Java and .Net platforms for over 10 years and nows focuses on the Visual Studio ALM platform and .Net technologies that foster agile engineering practices.

Ernst shares his knowledge of Scrum and Agile Engineering Practices while coaching and training teams adopting Scrum as their software development process. He guides teams in their adoption of Continuous Integration, Test Driven Development, Refactoring, Simple Design and Domain Driven Design as means of improving their productivity within the Scrum Framework.

Ernst has been a Certified Scrum Master for five years and has recently been certified Professional Scrum Master (Level II) at Scrum.org.
